Sublord Speaks: Next Dasha of top political mind, how it is?

There is a well-respected, even feared,  politician in India who is known as the king maker and a past master at political arithmetic. Will it continue?

The significators are as follows:

He is currently in the dasha of Rahu which signifies 11th house of gains at stellar levels and 1 10 at sub levels.  In fact since 1996 when he entered into the Mars Dasha his career has been on an uptrend. This is evident from mars which gives him efforts + reputation at the stellar level and 6 11 combination of victory at the sub level.

While the next Dasha of Jupiter which begins in October 2021 at first glance does appear favourable (due to solitary 11 at sub level), a second glance proves more insightful. Jupiter is not signifying 10th house at either the stellar or sub levels, indicating that he might take a backseat in political affairs.
What is worrying for me is that Jupiter is signifying the 4th house and the 8th house along with the 1st house. Worth remembering that 4th and 8th are both part of the trigon of 4-8-12 which deals with illnesses, obstacles and accidents.

I looked at the signification of the 8th CSL, which is Moon, to understand the severity of the 8th signification. Unfortunately, as one can see from the table above Moon too signifies 2-7 and 8-12, which are the maraka-badhaka and accident-loss houses.

Coming back to the Dasha of Jupiter, I took heart in noting that the 11th house is signified in the sub level indicating that the result will be diverted to the benefit of one of the finest political minds of this generation. Just as I did for the 8th, I looked at the 11th CSL to ascertain how strong the 11th house is to protect him.

The 11th CSL is Ketu. Ketu is signifying 2 4 8 12 houses at the stellar and sub levels. There is the life extending houses of 1 and 3 as well though. Given the Dasha lord’s stress on accident-illness houses of 8th and 12th, their reappearance in the 11th CSL is not particularly reassuring. As such I feel that while 11th will try and mitigate the impact of the fourth trigon, the politician will take a backseat from politics from the next Dasha onwards i.e. end of 2021.

May Bhairavi protect his health, and give him whatever is the best for him.

Sublord Speaks: Marriage (another one!)

This is a chart of someone I know. This person is in a relationship with a view to get married. Both partners have been seeing each other for a long time and question is not of if but when.

And looking at just the Nadi significators, this does look like a done deal. The person is in the dasha bhukti of Mercury (2010-2027) and Mars (upto Jan 2020), followed by Bhukti of Rahu (August 2022). Mercury is neutral for marriage but Mars is very positive, even signifying the full combination of 2 7 11.

So imagine my surprise when I looked at the significations per Hasbe/ sub lord speaks:

Mercury signifies the 7th house (though proximity) at the stellar and the sub level, making the dasha positive for marriage (though with problems as Me also signifies 1 4 6).

Mars signifies 2 7 11 at the stellar level but shockingly does not at the sub level, suggesting that while the person may come close to marriage being finalized it will fall through at the last moment.

Now why is the native facing marriage issues? Most of the marriageable age has been in Mercury, which by its significations is neutral for marriage.

The bhuktis in between of Ketu, Venus, Sun and Moon had only Sun which signified 2/7/11 at both the stellar level and sub level. I havent ascertained if there was any prospect that came close to working out then.  But one must appreciate the difficult position of the chart where only 3 grahas give a 2/7/11 signification at both the stellar and sub levels (Su, Me, and Sa).

This is an interesting chart academically because it shows the non-completion of an event that is so very close to happening. Whatever is the outcome, it will indeed be educative.

Sublord speaks: Marriage another variation

To analyse one's failures is important, and this is another one such. Not by a way of an excuse but this does highlight the limitations of core Nadi systems.

The native was of an advanced age but marriage had not materialised. The person is (and also was when I had examined the chart) in the dasha of Rahu. Look at the Nadi significators:

Now look at Rahu. Apart from a sole 11 at the planet level, it signifies 6 and 10 at the more powerful sub and star lord levels. Following the Nadi system, there is no way I would have said this dasha which ran from 2008 (to 2026) is good for marriage.

Then comes the more interesting part. Using the Sublord speaks/ Hasbe type of significations to identify strong and weak significations, we see tat Rahu is neither untenanted, nor its own star or sub. It means it lacks the strength to signify any house.

Rahu is in the star Jyestha, owned by Mercury, Mercury signifies 9th house where it is posited. It owns the 6th house that isnt empty, so only feebly signifies the 6th house.

Rahu is in the sub of Venus. Venus is in PurvaPhalguni, its own star. So it can signify the house that it is in 8th, and the 10th house that it owns via sign lordship. It feebly signifies the other house it owns (5th) because 5th has Ketu posited in it.

So Rahu signifies 9th at stellar level, and 8th and 10th at sub level. Now, without signifying 2/7/11 houses, how did it manage to bring about marriage in the Rahu dasha (albeit delayed to 2018)?!

This question kept me up the night! Now I see two possibilities.

1) Rahu is extremely close (within 3.20 degrees) of the 11th cusp. As we know cusps are the most sensitive points of  the chart and one can conclude that Rahu has got the signification of the 11th house, despite it having no stellar strength. I.e. if God placed a planet so close to a sensitive point then he wanted to to have that signification :))

and/or

2) Rahu aspects the 3rd house and 7th house, and both 3rd and 7th are empty. Thus Rahu gets the significations of both 3rd and 7th, of which 7th is a marriage-positive house. Again, this is DESPITE Rahu NOT having stellar strength.

Possibility 1 is close to Gondhalekar's four step method, while Possibility 2 is closer to the core KP method of taking aspects. (which oddly sublord speaks/ Hasbe do NOT consider aspects).

I do not have enough data to conclude on this at this point, but I will make this note to ensure that I will examine aspects and proximity to a cusp to check the significations, whether or not the planet has stellar strength.

It is worth mentioning that the irony that a planet which lacks strength being unable to signify the house it is sitting in, but still being able to signify a house that it is close to, or simply aspecting, it not lost on me. But hey!

Now why Ketu Bhukti. Ketu has stellar strength as not only is it untenanted but it also falls on own sub. So Ketu signifies the 5th house. Notably Ketu is very close to the 5th house cusp, so it would anyway signify the 5th house whether it had stellar strength or not (as discussed above).

Ketu is in Venus sign, so it will take on all the significations of Venus. As per Sublord Speaks, Ketu will take on significations of Venus at all four levels.

So lets look at Venus. Venus is on own star, so it  will signify 8th house of position. It owns 5th and 10th, of which 5th is occupied, so it will signify 10th. Venus is in sub of Ketu, so again the 5th signification. Ketu is in the star of Moon. Moon is in 12th and owns the 7th. 7th is empty, so Moon will signify 12th and 7th.

So Venus signifies 7 8 10 12, and thus Ketu signifies 7th at planet level strongly.

Ketu is in the star of Moon which signifies 7 and 12.

Ketu in the sub of Ketu so again 5 7 8 10 12 (between Ketu and Venus).

And again Moon as the star lord of the sublord signifies 7 and 12.

So Ketu signifies 7th house VERY strongly at both the stellar and sub levels.

The key points here are (and subject to continuous verification):

1) Can a planet (tenanted or untenanted) signify (occupied/unoccupied) cusps due to proximity
2) Can a planet (tenanted or untenanted) signify empty houses by aspects
3) A node signifies all the houses that are signified (at all 4 levels) by the planet it represents

Sublord speaks gives new perspective on marriage

This is the chart of a friend of mine who recently got married. This is her chart below.

The marriage was fixed in the DBA of Ke-Ra-Ke. Now look at the Nadi significators below:

It would have been very difficult for me to predict marriage in the Ketu dasha. It has 1 6 12 in the planet, 1 6 in the star, and 1 6 in the sub, with a solitary 7 at planet and sub level.

I used the sublord speak methodology (and my own variation) to tabulate the strong houses significators in the following manner:

Now the complexion of the planet Ketu changes completely. while it does signify 1 6 at the stellar level, it also signifies 7 (primary house of marriage) and 5th a marriage supporting house.

Rahu too becomes positive for marriage signifying 2 at the stellar level. There are no marriage negating houses, except 6 which is at the planet level and perhaps 4 (which is the 10th house for the 7th house of spouse). 8th house creates delays and obstacles, but it does not oppose marriage as it stands for sexual relations and is also the 2nd house for the spouse (represented by the 7th house). With no real opposition at the sublord level, Rahu too is able to give marriage.

The girl is well educated so the marriage search probably started in the Bhukti before Rahu Bhukti, ie during the Mars Bhukti. Why did marriage not happen then? Look at the significations of Mars. While it does signify marriage positive 11th house and 5th house the chances are completely negated by the 1st house signification at the sub level. This suggests that the gain (11th) and reputation (10th), were diverted into self efforts, own achievements (1st) and not towards marriage.

The marriage was fixed on a date Dec 27, 2018, see what KSK says on transit:

Note in the Natal Rahu represents Saturn and Ketu represents Moon.

when the DBA lords were posited thus:

Ke in Saturn sign, Sun Star, and Jupiter Sub
Ra in Moon sign, Jupiter Star and Rahu Sub
Sun was in Jupiter sign Ketu star and Mercury Sub
Moon was in Sun Sign, Venus Star, and  Saturn Sub

This transit however suggests that somehow Sun and Jupiter should also so be kaaryesh of 2/7/11, which is not coming out in the significators I have removed. So I look at planetary aspects and notice that Sun aspects the 2nd house, and 2nd house is empty, so it is (perhaps) taking on the signification. Jupiter aspects 5, 7 and 9 but 5 and 9 have other planets in them so it signifies the 7th house.

I will obviously have to look at more examples, but this does indicate to be an insighful way to look at house significations especially when looking at confusing Nadi significations. I will also need to get a better understanding of transits.

An experiment with a politician - Devendra Fadnavis

I am currently reading a series of articles by the son of KSK ji, titled "Sub lord speaks". While the methodology varies from the usual Nadi and Shahasane methodology that I have been following, it does give some intriguing insights.

As an experiment, I want to take up the discussion of the chart of the CM of Maharashtra who was hand picked by his party's leadership. He is formed deep connects within his party and is widely expected to continue to be the CM after the next polls.

Between 1981 and 2000, DF was in the dasha of Saturn. Let us see how Saturn is placed in the chart.

Saturn is not untenanted, so it does not have strength of signification. It feebly signifies 7th (posited), 4th and 5th (even more feebly as 4th has Rahu in it, and 5th has Moon in it).

Saturn is in the star owned by Sun. Sun strongly signifies 9th, and weakly signfies 11th as the 11th house has Venus in it.

Saturn is in the sub of Moon. Moon is untenanted, so it strongly signifies 5th house, and weakly signifies the 10th house (as the 10th house has Ma , Me and Ke in it).

Moon is in the star of Jupiter. Ju signifies 3rd, 6th and 12th strongly,

So in summary, Sa is signifying 9, 5, 12, 3 and 6.

9th house signifies father, or higher education. The modification of the 9th by the 3rd house (detrimental to education) suggests that his education was not remarkable. He did average. The reason I do not negate education completely is because of the 5th and 6th signification. It is worth nothing that his father was in politics that thus he played probably a very important role in his life during this period.

He got into politics sometime during 1995 (based on net searches). This means during the Bhukti of Mars. Lets look at Mars. Mars is tenanted, so only feebly signifies the houses of 10, 2, 7. Mars is in the star of Saturn which signifies 7 strongly and 4 and 5 weakly. Mars is in the sub of Venus. Venus being in its own star signifies 11th, 1st and 8th house strongly. Venus is in the star of Mars which signifies 2 and 10 strongly, and 7 feebly. The strong signification of 2 10 11 at the sublord level aided him to do well in politics in this period. While 7 and 8 could create obstacles they did not have the positional strength to do much harm.

His next Dasha was Mercury. Let see how Mercury looks like:

Mercury in his own star, so strongly signifies the house of its position i.e. 10th. It owns the 9th and 12th house, but since both these houses have another planet(s) in them, this is only a feeble signification.

Mercury is in the sub of Sun. Sun is tenanted and thus signifies 9 and 11 only feebly.

Sun is in the star of Saturn, Saturn signifies 7th strongly, and 4th and 5th feebly (as mentioned earlier.

In summary, Mercury signifies 10, 10, and 7.

10th is the house of reputation and position, and this is something that has defined DF's career from July 2000 to July 2017 (the period of Mercury dasha). The 7th house usually means opposition, so his reputation will see some struggle but it is not a direct opposition to the 10th like the 9th house, or a directly negative house like the 8th or the 12th.

DF was sworn in as MH CM in October 2014, this is in Jupiter Bhukti. Lets look at Jupiter. Jupiter is tenanted so only feebly signifies 12, 3 and 6. Ju is in the star of Mars which strongly signifies 2 and 10. Ju is in the sub of Ve which is in its own star so strongly signifies 11, 1 and 8. Venus is in the star of Venus, so 11, 1 and 8 again.

While 8 creates obstacles, the strong stellar signification of 2 and 10, and sub level 1 and 11 could easily defeat it. Notably, if people recall there was a lot of push and pull before his name was announced and so 8 did create some obstacles.

Now coming to the current dasha of Ketu. Ketu is in its own star so signifies 10 strongly. It is in Leo so represents the Sun. Sun is tenanted so there are no strong significations. Moon aspects Ketu, it is untenanted so signifies 5th strongly. While Ketu is in the same house as Venus, I think are more than 5 degrees apart and hence cannot consider them conjunct. Ketu is in the sub of Saturn, Saturn has no strong significations. Saturn is in the star of Sun, and Sun strongly signifies the 9th house.

This is interesting, the house being activated in Ketu is the 10th house of reputation, position etc. and the result of this house is 9th. which is the maraka of the 10th house. Does this indicate that DF will lose his current position in the next poll? It must be noted that 9th is not a negative house generally like the 8th or 12th house suggesting that he may be moved to another position within the party or even to the central government.  Notably, the 5th house is also strongly signified, both 5th and 9th ae negative houses for career matters (5th is maaraka for 6th and 9th is maaraka for 10th)

The MH state polls will likely be conducted in Saturn Bhukti. Lets look at Saturn. Saturn is tenanted and thus does not have strong significations of its own. Saturn is in the star of Sun which signifies 9, again, strongly. Saturn is in the sub of Moon which signifies 5th strongly. And Moon is in the star of Jupiter which signifies 3rd, 6th and 12th strongly.

This suggests that Devendra Fadnavis may be slated to be replaced as the CM of MH just before and just after the next govt is formed.

This replacement may be more in the nature of transfer and not a firing, since the 8th house of insults has not been involved. Admittedly, this prediction goes against every common sense of the people who today swear by his ability to hold on to power. But hey, stranger things have happened, and there cant be experiments without risk!

BJP Poll prospects in Rajasthan

Please see chart and sigs below:

6th CSL is Rahu. Rahu signifies 5 8 12, which is complete defeat. Has no positive houses at all. BJP will face a defeat in Rajasthan. Possibly a big defeat.

DBA relevant for results is Ju-Ke-Mo

Ju signifies 5 12, that are winning houses for opposition. (12th house is 6th house  for 7th, 5th is 11th for opposition)

Ke signifies moderate positive houses.

Moon also signifies 5 12 houses which are negative for the incumbent.

Conclusion: BJP will lose Rajasthan.

BJP's poll prospects in Madhya Pradesh

Yesterday even as the voting was drawing to a close, I was inspired to investigate the prospects of BJP in the state of Madhya Pradesh. I cast the following chart:

6th CSL is Rahu, which is signifying 3 6 10 11 and no negative houses.

DBA during results is Me-Mo-Sa

Me signifies 1 2 3 6 10, which is positive.
Mo signifies 10 11, in fact solitary 11 at sub level
Sa signifies 1 6 which is also supportive of a win.

Conclusion: BJP will win in MP.
