Will Salman Khan be jailed in the hit and run case? Birth time rectification

I am back to trying my luck at jyotish, this time with a celebrity case that has lingered on for years if not decades. After too man twists and turns I read that the verdict will be declared in the case on May 6, 2015. The basic details of the case can be found here:

The chart is as follows:

As we all know, Salman has been facing serious legal troubles for sometime now. Hence it was surprising for me to note the following significations in his ongoing DBA:

SA 10, 11

1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 10

4, 10

MA 1, 8, 9

5, 8

2, 7, 10

RA 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 10

5, 8

2, 7, 10

The presence and frequency of the houses 6 8 12 in the DBA (of which atleast one planet is RA/KE/SA) determines the severity of litigation. A charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder does not seem supported by the above significations. At best these stray indications of a 6 here or a 6 8 there talk of a litigation with 2-3 court dates, a small penalty etc with no fear of imprisonment. In this case the facts tell us otherwise. Whatever may ultimately happen, a case of culpable homicide is by no means a small affair.

So I thought to check if his horoscope is accurate. The Ruling planets at the time I started analysing the horoscope (21/4/2015, 6:14:02PM, Pune) were ME, MO, VE, MA in the descending order of strength. The planets ruling the ascendent cusp for the kundali available online were MA-VE-SA. Of this while MA and VE belong to the ruling planets at the time of the judgement, SA is the outsider. I adjust the time to 14:13:19 to get the combination of MA-VE-MA that ties up with the ruling planets. A big thank you, to the ruling planets that have guided me!

The new significations of DBA are:

The presence of  two of the litigation karak houses together in SA (nakshatra level) and Rahu (planet level) indicate litigation of some seriousness, which matches with the reality as we see it. Another check is the high prevalence of the house combinations 3 6 8 which suggests that Salman Khan has no inclination towards education. This is evidenced by the reality of his leaving schooling at HSC level as per this link: http://starsunfolded.com/salman-khan-height-weight-age/

It is necessary for either RA/ KE/ SA to be in DBA for litigation to occur. So it makes sense that the event (hit and run) that triggered the litigation happened in September 2002, just as the Shani Dasha began after the Jupiter dasha ended in the second half of August. Litigation is triggered with the houses 6 8 12 are represented in the DBA 

The houses for imprisonment are 2 (worry to family), 3 (away from residence), 8 (insult, loss of reputation) and 12 (confinement). 

As on May 6th, 2015, Salman will be running the DBA of SA-MA-RA. RA Antara ends on 16th May and the next one is of Jupiter which is from 17th May to 9th July 2015. As can be seen from the significators table, between the DBA lords, the houses 2 3 8 12 are not signified completely. At most the houses 2 3 and 8 are signified. This suggests that while the court may fine Salman and he may even face loss of reputation (presence of house 8), actual confinement will not happen. 

Note also the presence of 6 11, 1 6, 6 10 which also suggests a sort of a victory for Salman Khan in the litigation. At this level, him not being found guilty of a non-bailable offence should be considered victory enough. The presence of 5 and 9 houses in both Mars and Rahu suggest that there is an element of "out of court settlement" that has happened. The houses of victory are also the houses for bail (6 10/ 10 11/ 6 11/ 11/ 10), so for any lesser offence that Salman may be found guilty, bail will be readily available.

Note: I am not aware if speculating via amatuer astrology on a court case that has been in the public domain for years together is an offense. If so, I apologise. Causing offence is not intentional. I am only learning astrology and putting up my predictions to help the education process. I do not represent the above post, or indeed any post, as infallible, 

Will I get a pay hike?

An old friend of mine asked me a question last night, "Will I be able to get a better pay?", in other words he was asking for a pay hike. When I asked him for a number between 1 and 249, he replied "49".

I got working on this question on April 21, 2015 at 11:50:08 at Pune. The following chart was cast:

First I looked at the Moon, as it indicates the 'mati' of the questioner. It reveals the genuineness of the question. As can be seen, Moon is the significator of 2 and 11. The second house signifies wealth accumulated and 11th house signifies income. Since the question was regarding a pay hike, the Moon significations indicate that the question was genuine. 

The other significators based on Nadi methodology are as follows:

Moon Dasha is in operation at the time of asking the question. Moon is the cuspal sublord of the 10th house of professional achievement and is a very strong significator of the houses 2 and 11 at the planet, nakshatra and sub level. This suggests that my friend's wishes of getting a salary hike will be fulfilled. Interestingly, MO is also the bhukti operational at the time of asking the question, supporting the higher income aspirations of the native. 

While the question "When will my pay hike/ income increase happen?" was not asked, I tried to work out the same anyway. Since a increase in salary can be considered a promotion, I decided to see the houses combination for promotion, which is 2 6 10 11. Remember, the houses opposed will be 1 5 9 3.

I scored the planets based on the above combinations and obtained the following results:

KE: 4

VE: - 3

SU: 4

MO: 12

MA: 6

RA: 10

JU: 8

SA: -9

ME: -2

Clearly, MO, RA. JU and MA are the strongest planets for the salary hike. Since the Moon dasha and Moon bhukti are already going on, we need to look for the antara. The Rahu Antara is also a promising time for a pay hike from May 27, 2015 to July 11, 2015. However, we cannot pinpoint the date as Moon owned sign (Cancer) does not own any Rahu owned star. In any case, the Sun (whose transit we use to pin-point the event) does not pass through cancer at all during the period May 27 to July 11.

So, we look at the next Antara, which is that of Jupiter. This runs from 12 July 2015 to 21 Aug 2015. This is roughly a months time when my friend can expect some increase in salary. We can try and pinpoint an important date range within this month. This will be when Sun will transit through the Moon-Jupiter (Sign-Star) combination. This is the period 17 July 2015 to 20 July 2015. Interestingly, during this period the Nadi rule of transit is also satisfied, ie, atleast three planets signifying the event (salary) increase occupy the relevant houses. Jupiter and Moon are in the 11th house, Mars is in the 10th house and Ketu is in the 6th house. 

Lets also have a quick  look at the other planets:

Ve is signifying 6 8 12, Saturn is signifying 6 8 12 and 5 8 12, Mars is signifying 5 12 and ME is signifying 5 12 without having the mitigating 6 10/ 6 11/ 10 11. During these periods my friend needs to be extra careful in his dealings.  Chances of a conspiracy against him are higher during this period and it would do him well to keep proper records of his communications and do everything by the book and not violate any norm to do favours for colleagues.

Child birth when?

This is another one of my self starter efforts being put up here to serve as a record for later. NR is a friend of mine who got married a couple of years back. She has not asked me to make a prediction but I am doing so anyway to test my jyotish skills (or lack of them). The matter being analysed is when will child birth occur.

Below is the birth chart (assumed to be correct):

The houses to be looked at for child birth are 2, 5 (primary house of child birth) and 11. 1, 4, 10 combination opposes child birth.

As per rules of KP, lets first see if child birth is promised to NR or no. Child birth is promised if the sub lord of the 5th house signifies 2/5/7. The Cuspal sub lord of the fifth house is Rahu. As can be seen, Rahu is the significator of the 2nd house, which is one of the child birth combinations that we are looking for. Thus child birth is promised to NR.

Now 'when' is the question. For that, we need to see which of the significators will help. The list of significators, given below:

The strongest significators in descending order of strength are KE, RA, VE, SA, MA, Jupiter is actually not giving child but because it is a natural significator for children, we can consider it to be a very weak significator in this case. SU, MO and ME are outright denying child birth.

NE is currently running the Mahadasha of Mercury, ME is strongly denying childbirth. As such I expect her not to bear children till this dasha ends, which it will on March 2, 2019. NR will be 38 odd years old then, but her next dasha is of Ketu, a strong indicator for children in her horoscope. This suggests that she will experience motherhood in Ketu's dasha.

Within Ketu Mahadasha, the first two bhukti's of Ke and VE are positive for child birth and so we can consider these for now. Within Ketu Bhukti, we need to now identify an antara to work with. A single planet is incapable of giving results and to offer a result at least two planets are needed. So for Antara lets see if we can select Venus. To pinpoint a small range, we look at the dates when the Sun passes through a D-B (planet) combination, in this case KE-VE or VE-KE. Since Ketu does not rule any sign and there are no Ketu stars in any VE sign (Taurus and Libra), we have to discard Venus for antara. The next antara's of sun and moon are not positive for child birth, so we can ignore them as well. The next antara is of Mars and child birth is not denied here. So lets look at the period of this antara: 25 April, 2019 to 3 Mar, 2019. Of these dates, Sun in is Mars sign (Aries) and Ketu's star for the period 25/4 to 27/4.

Notably, on these dates, the Nadi rule of any three planets offering the result being in relevant houses (2 5 11 in this case) is also true. Ketu, Saturn are in 5th house while Rahu is in the 11th house. So we can say that 25-27 April 2019 will be the day a child is born to NR. 

The planets however have a word of caution for her. Nadi rules say that if RA/KE/SA are in transit over natal position or over houses 1 4 10 or over houses 2 5 11 (as in this case), there may be very slight chances of a miscarriage or damage to the foetus. While this is not a HUGE risk, it is something one cannot take any chance with and the risk however slight must be mitigated. As such it is advised to NR to take utmost care of herself and her baby during the entire term of her pregnancy, to not miss visits to doctors and keep help and advise at hand all throughout. It is also advised that she do some type of meditation and perhaps do some small daily worship of the deity of her choice, preferably a Devi during her term.

A question of marriage

My Jyotish journey continues. I don't know how far my methods or predictions are correct but I guess the only way to learn is to keep doing it and verify results after the events predicted have come to pass. I only document them to be completely honest. Assuming that the subject of astrology is correct, then the astrologer who justifies his misses later by citing some aspect or yoga is nothing but a cheap charlatan. 

Anyway, a dear friend of mine has recently started thinking of marriage. She is well qualified and successful in her own right. Given that I am only learning, I volunteered to take a look at her birth horoscope to try and time her marriage. This is how the study went:

Here is the birth chart (Name has been changed to protect identity blah blah, lets call her Ms.X):

As per KP rules, the house grouping for marriage is 7 (primary) and 2 & 11 (supporting houses). Here we can see that the cuspal sub lord of the 7th house is MO. Mo signifies the houses 7 and 2 so as per KP, marriage is promised in her chart. Now let me revert to Nadi astrology to see the key planets that will give her marriage and approximately when. I will also try and deduce some other things about her marriage if possible.

Lets look at the Nadi significators for Ms.X:

At first, glance any reader can spy 2 7 11 combination sprinkled across the planets. So overall this is a decent horoscope from marriage point of view.  Positive planets offering marriage are VE, MO, MA, ME, JU and SU. I have excluded the following planets (remember 1 6 10 opposes marriage):

KE: Marriage rejected by '10' at Nakshatra level and the Sub is also not supporting

RA: Marriage rejected by '6' at Nakshatra level and the Sub is also not supporting

SA: Marriage rejected by '1' at Planet level while Nak and Sub are neither here nor there

Currently she is running DBA (Dasha-Bhukti-Antara) of JU-KE-SU. She was too young for marriage in Mars Dasha and Rahu would not have allowed the marriage in its Dasha till 2008 anyway. See below for dates etc:

While Jupiter is a strong significator of  marriage, KE rejects it. As such, we will have to ignore the current bhukti. KE bhukti ends on 16th December 2015, I dont see marriage getting finalised till then atleast. The next Bhukti is of Venus. Venus is not only a strong significator of marriage for her, it is also a natural significator of marriage in general. As such, I feel, the DB of JU-VE will be a good time for marriage getting fixed of Ms. X.  Now VE bhukti will run till Aug 2018! This isn't really helpful, so lets try and narrow it down. 

Within VE Bhukti, the VE antara will be the first period. Given the pre-eminent position of VE to offer marriage, JU-VE-VE would be a good time for the marriage to be fixed. This period (i.e. JU-VE-VE) will run from 17th December 2015 to 26th May 2016. So we have narrowed it down to roughly 5 months. Can we bring it down further? Lets try to with the help of transits. 

Rule of transits are:

1) Favourable DBA should be in operation. This is so.

2) Any three planets giving event should satisfy any one of the following conditions:

a) Conjoin in 1 sign OR

b) Mutually aspect each other OR

c) Transit relevant houses (e.g. 2 7 11 in this case) OR

d) Aspect relevant houses OR

e) Transit natal positions

Identifying transits is my Achilles heel. I am quite bad at it. But I gave it a whirl anyway:

Her positive period starts from February itself as some of the above conditions start getting met. However, it is only for short bursts of time. For example:

5/2 - 6/2: MO, VE, ME conjoin in Sagittarius

21/2 - 22/2: MO in 2nd, ME and VE in 7th

8/3 - 10/3: VE, ME, MO conjoin in Aquarius

So while it is possible that marriage could be fixed in this period, I prefer looking at longer periods:

25/4 - 14/5: VE, ME and SU conjunct in Aries. Within this date also, I like 8th and 9th May when there is less that 1 degree distance between SU and ME.

So while marriage can be fixed anytime between Feb and May/June 2016, the most ideal time would be sometime between 25th April and 14th May 2016.

Given that I first started learning astrology through the KP method, I wanted to note down the results of transit by KP as well here just to check validity later on, so here goes:

KP asks us to look at the transit of Sun for events expected to occur roughly in about a year. Since the DB is of JU and VE, we need to look at the period when the Sun will transit through either Jupiter sign and Venus Star or Venus Sign or Jupiter star. Remember I believe that the period one should be looking at is 17th Dec 2015 to 26th May 2016. During this period, Sun will transit fully or partially through Sagittarius (JU-KE, JU-VE, JU-SU), Capricorn (SA-SU,SA-MO,SA-MA), Aquarius (SA-MA-SA-RA,SA-JU), Pisces (JU-JU, JU-SA, JU-ME), Aries (MA-KE, MA-VE, MA-SU) and Taurus (VE-SU, VE-MO, VE-MA). The planets given in the brackets are the Signlord-Starlord combinations.

It is clear that the JU-VE combination is possible only in the Sagittarius sign. So the dates of the Sun's transits through JU sign and VE star will be 29th December to 10th Jan 2016. Interestingly, as of 10th Jan 2016, two of the Nadi conditions for transit are also getting satisfied:

a) Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars are roughly transiting over their natal chart positions. On 5-6 Jan the transit sun is in rapt conjunction (<1 deg difference) with the natal Sun. On 5th Jan, transit Venus is also conjunct with natal Venus.

b) Sun, Moon and Mercury (3 of the planets that offer marriage) are in relevant 7th house.

So the two possible date ranges (from two different methods) for fixing of marriage are as follows:

1) 29/12/2015 - 10/1/2016 (emphasis on 5th and 6th Jan)
2) 25/4/2016 - 14/5/2016 (emphasis on 8th and 9th May)

What else does her chart tell us:

Look at the '3' signified with so many planets. Even in JU-VE-VE, 2 is signified along with 2, 7, 11. It suggests that her groom will be someone from the known circle for her or her family. Oddly I cant see a strong indication of love marriage, so it is likely to start off as an arranged marriage.

Look at also the 3 9 and 3 9 12's signified alongwith 2 7 11. It suggests that she will have to move some distance to get married or post marriage. '12' suggests possibility of finding a groom based abroad.

Also, the presence of all benefics basically JU and VE in the DBA during marriage period suggests that that her husband will come from a respectable background (may even be in a teaching position) and will be a good looking or sophisticated person. (basically like someone she wants!).

Lets hope God gives her, what is best for her!
